Synopsis:

The film according to Solomon - Northup (Solomon Northup) life story, he was living in New York blacks 1840s, but in 1841 the name was to play the violin, kidnapping sold Louisiana plantations. Solomon made a slave 12 years, until she met a white carpenter from Canada, Samuel Bass, who volunteered to be transferred to a letter written by Solomon, his wife, and ultimately opened the road in search of freedom of Solomon.
